Tenzin Peljor visit 24th July

Our old friend Tenzin Peljor will be visiting us at Hamblin Hall next Thursday from 7.30.

He will be teaching on wisdom from the Buddhist perspective.

Tenzin Peljor was born in Germany and has experience of many spiritual traditions including the Catholic Church, the Hindu path, Shamanism and Sufism.

He briefly trained in the New Kadampa tradition and quickly became disillusioned with this school.  In 2002 he made contact with Ringu Tulku Rinpoche and other Lamas from the four Tibetan schools.

In 2005 he studied for Gelong ordination with the support of HH Dalai Lama, which he achieved in 2006.  In 2007 Ringu Tulku requested him to become resident monk at his Berlin Centre.  Since 2008 he has studied in Italy.

This will be Tenzin’s third visit to our group and he has always spoken from a very practical perspective whilst coming from a deep and traditional lineage.
