Vigil at Cittaviveka 13th August

August 9, 2010

There will be a candlelit vigil at Cittaviveka Monastery in Chithurst, West Sussex for the wellbeing of the Sangha and of all beings.

This will be on Friday 13th August and begins at 7.00 pm.  Click here for poster.  The Monastery is just off the A272 at Chithurst, between Petersfield and Midhurst.  Click here for a Google map of the area.

The candle lit vigil is an event where people can silently express their appreciation of and aspiration for the well being of the fourfold sangha. It has no agenda and has no desired out come. This event is in appreciation of and open to everyone.

Rinpoche has requested that his students and friends recite the Vajra Kilaya mantra for him and his work as much as possible.

You can hear and download this mantra at

This practice is said to be extremely powerful as a means to remove obstacles and it is believed to have been discovered by Guru Rinpoche and later hidden as a terma by his vajra consort Yeshe Tsogyal.
